SSI Open Water Diver Certification
SSI Personalized Training Approach accelerates the process of making you a serious diver in a way that is comfortable and enjoyable for you. After all, everyone learns at a different pace and has personal objectives for their diving.
Under the guidance of a professional SSI Instructor, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of underwater exploration. This course can be completed in just four days. At the end you will be awarded the worldwide-recognized Open Water Diver Certification, allowing you to dive without a guide, to a depth of 18 metres.
SSI’s modular, six-session teaching system includes a video, manual, study guide, dive-log and dive tables. And with SSI’s home study approach, you will be able to minimize your time in the classroom allowing for more time in the water developing ability and comfort. In multiple pool and open water sessions, you will practice scuba skills with SSI’s exclusive Comfort Through Repetition teaching method.
Some of the skills you will learn include:
- Moving in the water with ease
- Breathing normally under water
- Controlling buoyancy so you neither descend nor ascend
- The easiest ways to enter and exit the water
- Getting water out of your mask or mask clearing
This course will make sure that you have lots of fun, become comfortable in the underwater world and learn to dive safely.
